A Cafe for Writers on a Deadline

Hello friends! Spoon & Tamago here, back from spring break in which we took some time off to refresh. Sometimes it's hard to write, but we're on a deadline, which is why the manuscript writer's cafe in Tokyo is our new best friend. It's for writers only and once you check-in, you can't leave until you're done! In southern Japan, we check out a new pottery store that recently opened. And with a cafe and outdoor park, it's got a little something for everyone. We also highlight the anti-war watercolors of artist Hiroki Takeda, who has a solo exhibition in Tokyo this week.

Meanwhile, in Tottori…. the traditional "race up a hill in a dinosaur costume" event was held recently.
