A new way to travel (with a Telecaster)
If you've vacationed (or paid any attention to the news) recently, you'll know that domestic and international air travel has proven to be a bit of a nightmare for many of late, with horror stories of delays, cancellations, and especially lost checked luggage all too common in recent months.

It doesn't exactly make one eager to travel, does it? Especially if you're taking your guitar with you. Even if your guitar is part of your carry-on luggage (an option backed by law in the United States), it can still be a headache to store and keep track of. If it's checked, your beloved instrument is fully at the mercy of baggage handlers.

Jazz guitar maestro Julian Lage, however, recently shared a solution to this conundrum. Heck, he even says his approach to the air travel question makes his Telecaster sound better. Give his tip – which he says he got from Danny Gatton by way of Ron Ellis – a scan below, and see if it applies to your favorite guitar. After all, we could all use some help when traveling by air these days...
