Genre: Biography / Drama

Plot Outline: A biopic depicting the early years of legendary director and aviator Howard Hughes' career, from the late 1920s to the mid-1940s. Martin Scorsese's Howard Hughes biography flies high and mighty when it does indeed fly--down on the ground, it's aloof, cold, a little slow, but you get the impression that Scorsese doesn't notice. He's an extremely self-satisfied filmmaker and doesn't bother to pick up the pace.
