An early contender for best jam of 2023...
Typically – for those of us who can't attend them in person – the highlights of camps and clinics like Joe Satriani's G4 Experience tend to be videos of their late-night, all-star jams, which usually feature lineups you're unlikely to see elsewhere.

This year's G4 Experience took place from January 3-7 at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa, and featured an eye-watering lineup of guest instructors, many of whom got together each evening to cut loose.

Videos of these jams have slowly been trickling onto the internet in recent weeks.

One featured Satriani, Eric Gales, and Steve Morse shredding the blues classic, Going Down, while another, more recently-posted video shows Satriani and Gales getting together with Steve Lukather and Mateus Asato for an electrifying fretboard throwdown.

We're not even halfway through February, but we reckon that both of these videos will be serious contenders, by year's end, to be crowned 2023's best all-star jam session...
