A trio of new Kirk Hammett signatures
At any gig, you'll sometimes screw up. I certainly have. One of the more prominent of said screw-ups was when I reported on Kirk Hammett's endorsement of Gibson.

Surely, I posited publicly at the time, this endorsement meant the Metallica man's long-standing relationship with ESP was over. Right? 

Well, that didn't end up being one of my better predictions. Though much ink was spilled about Hammett's newly-minted relationship with Gibson, he's continued working with ESP in the meantime, and, it seems, has even struck up a relationship with Fender, too.

At Metallica’s recent Helping Hands Concert, Hammett's newest custom Fender, Gibson, and ESP guitars were all prominently displayed. That Fender one, it's worth pointing out, might surprise you...
