A tone king reveals his secrets
There were a number of distinct "A guitar can sound like that??" moments in my youth. Hearing Robin Trower's Bridge of Sighs for the first time was unquestionably one of them.

“It’s a great song," Trower tells Guitar World with a laugh in a new interview. "I think it’s pretty deep and atmospheric, and I think it’s that combination that captivates listeners.”

Even at 77, Trower – having released three albums in the last four years – has no intention of slowing down. In our newly published chat with the guitar legend, he discusses his new album, No More Worlds to Conquer, and why he sticks to his signature Strats, and gives us some insight into the almighty tone that's expanded the sonic palettes of so many listeners over the decades – myself included.

Give it a read in full below.
