Editor's Note
The $1,000,000 guitar pedal
"This is it. This is the one. Nothing can compare.”

So says a Reverb.com seller operating under the name Pedal Palace of the 1976 Boss CE-1 that they have listed on Reverb.com for the price of... $1,000,000.

Now, to their credit, the pedal in question ain't just any old CE-1. It's CE-1 serial number S000001.

The seller has even gone on the record with the prediction that this CE-1 will be worth 10 times the value they’ve placed on it right now in 20 years. I know inflation is formidable at the moment, but a $10 million guitar pedal?

Am I being too dismissive of what might be the greatest investment of our time? Take a look and decide for yourself.
