50 years of Ibanez in the USA
On September 1, 1972, the Japanese musical instrument manufacturer Hoshino officially formed a partnership with America’s Elger company to sell and market Ibanez guitars in the United States.

Over the next 50 years, Ibanez would go on to become one of the world’s most successful guitar brands – a top-tier status that the company still enjoys today.

Today, we present a deep dive into the company's history, and how it evolved in tandem with guitar culture to make new breakthroughs in design, sound, and performance.
