Editor's Note
The Holy Diver Les Paul comes full circle
“I’ve just gotten really comfortable with it again. I like the closure of going full circle, starting my career with it and coming back to it.”

That's Vivian Campbell, talking about the Les Paul he first used with Dio, years before he joined stadium-rockers Def Leppard.

Typically referred to by Campbell by its serial number, 7297537, the Les Paul is all over Def Leppard's upcoming studio album, Diamond Star Halos, which is said by the band to be a return to their roots.

We believe them – after all, few 'return to your musical roots' methods are as tried-and-true as picking up the guitar you began your musical journey with.
