The long shadow of Malcolm Young...
Who's the most influential rock guitarist of all time?

Obviously, that's an incredibly weighty, and subjective, question. If you were to get 20 different guitarists together in a room, and ask each of them for their opinion, you may very well get 20 different answers.

Steel Panther six-stringer Satchel, for one, feels that AC/DC's Malcolm Young casts the greatest shadow in that regard.

“[He] probably influenced more people as a guitar player than Eddie Van Halen,” Satchel explained in a recent interview. “I’m saying this: more than Eddie Van Halen, Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton, and any guitar player."

It's a hot take, but one that Satchel – who knows a thing or two about rock guitar – backs up well. Find out his reasoning below...
