What was your favorite guitar solo of 2022?

Was it Steve Vai's playful, melodic, and generation-bridging lead on Polyphia's Ego Death? Or perhaps it might have been Vai's heroic battle with the triple-neck Ibanez Hydra, captured so perfectly on his song, Teeth of the Hydra.

My favorite of the year, the minute-long burner that highlights Eric Gales' You Don't Know The Blues, didn't quite crack our readers' poll-driven top 10 list, but plenty of other killer lead displays did.
