Editor's Note
A chat with the great Vito Bratta
“I can’t figure out some of my own stuff. For the longest time I said I’m not gonna learn that Wait solo because I don’t remember what I did. But it came back to me.”

That's Vito Bratta, the brilliant White Lion guitarist who dazzled the rock world with his thrilling, acrobatic, and melodic lead work, before walking away from the music business three decades ago.

Recently, in the same Staten Island, New York home where he grew up – and still lives today – Bratta sat down with us for a lengthy interview. Candid and kind, he discussed White Lion's rise and fall, his biggest influences, and the freak wrist injury that's kept him mostly away from the guitar for 25 years. If you're looking for a great Friday afternoon or weekend read, look no further
