Vending Machines in Snow

"The Stream Freezes Over"

Historically, this has been the coldest time of year in Japan, the time when even moving water tends to freeze up. Indeed, Japan is in fact in the middle of a cold front that has dumped snow across the land. The good news is that we're just one microseason away from the final seventy-second, and after this period signs of spring begin to slowly appear.
